breastfeed for 2 years

I continued to breastfeed for 3 years! Even through the first half of my pregnancy with baby# 2 due this April. :)

I breastfed my first for 18 months, he stopped when I was 4 months pg with my second. I breastfed my second till he was 16 months and quit because I wanted to have a third and wanted a little break between breastfeeding and pregnancy. I am now breastfeeding my 3rd, who is 15 months old. I am looking forward to weaning him this summer, before he is two. I am tired of it.

All the evidence points to the fact that breastfeeding for the first two years is best for the baby. It is a great benefit to your child.

And today I’m finally saying no to the last feed. It was really only a habit at this stage and she’d skipped a few days herself.
