How I did it: I made the conscious decision to buy more fresh fruits and veggies. Beyond that, I take time to wash, cut, slice, dice and bag as soon as I bring the goodies home. This prevents the foods from sitting in the crisper til past their prime.As always, I find that when I eat the proper, recommended amount of fruits and veggies per day, I am so stuffed and full that I don't have room for all the other temptations that come my way. How I did it: i have bad skin and i know i should eat 5-a-dayso i just started snacking more on fruit and veg i liked and also helps not to be afraid of sugar cause this is natural sugar.my mum buys the food so i ask for my favourites but she buys lots anyway.:D you can do thisif you dont one day, just keep trying the next days!it will make you healthier and you can eat it all the time even if you are losing weight Read how I did it…

I’ve definitely been eating a lot more fruits and veggies since the summer began. I feel like I have accomplished this goal but I don’t want to take it off in case I forget.
Seriously though, having a bunch of apples in the fridge really helps because they taste awesome and you can take it to go. I always have one on my way to work.

Went to the grocery and got bananas, cherries, grapefruit, cantaloupe, tomatoes, lettuce, and cauliflower. I am serious about this!

My work cube, aptly named the Disco Corner, is a veggie patch today as I work toward my goal of eating more fruits and vegetables every day. Today I have a salad (spinach, iceburg, romaine) with a side order of fresh veggies like carrots, broccoli, mushrooms. Grapes and strawberries for dessert.
I’ve found that when I make these available, I eat more. Now days, I make sure that I have fresh pineapple cut, berries washed, grapes plucked, oranges peeled . . . I have broccoli washed, carrots sliced and tiny little grape tomatoes bagged up and ready to go.
While my little one won’t eat most veggies . . . he is a fruit fiend so that at least is a consolation.

Bought lots of fresh fruit at the market tonight and spent a good portion of the evening washing, chopping, cutting. My ‘fridge looks quite organized . . . with tubs of strawberries, oranges, grapes and, the best . . . yummy fresh pineapple. I’ve always loved fresh pineapple but never bought it. It wasn’t nearly as messy as I thought it would be. . . the worst part was my little one sitting across the bar saying . . . ‘One more piece Mom, just one more piece, PLEASE!’
We have snacks ready as we need them this w/end and if necessary, I’ll go to the market again on Monday. We’re all kinda fruity you know.
