Walk my dog 3 days a week

My dog’s name is M.A.G. (Magnificent Animal Girl). She insists that I walk her every morning before I have my coffee. I’d rather have my coffee first and then sit on the porch and read for an hour.

We’ve been walking almost daily for more than 3 months. We’ve done this walking thing before for shorter periods and it didn’t work for various reasons. This time though it’s the specificity that helps; first thing in the morning, 1 mile, a dedicated route, it’s all about her, exercise for me has nothing to do with it, if she stops to smell something for 10 minutes then I just stand there. She’s walking me. Enjoy & release the need to lead :-0

We walked for 20 minutes after work yesterday. Now if I can just wake up a little earlier then I won’t have to lie to my boss to leave early.

It’s too cold.
It’s so dark.
I’m a whiner. My poor puppy. I take him to the park both days on weekends. You’d think I could find one day out of five that I could walk him. It’s so hard. I’m going to ask to leave work early so I can go take him out.

Last week I only walked him once, but so far this week I’ve walked him twice and I still have Saturday. Yay! I really need to get my lazy friends involved in this so I can have some company.
