“If at first you don’t succeed, failure may be your style”

“Treat all disasters as if they were trivialities, but never treat a triviality as if it were a disaster.”

“Abatement in the hostility of one’s enemies must never be thought to signify they have been won over. It only means that one has ceased to constitute a threat”

“Never keep up with the Joneses. Drag them down to your level.”

“The very purpose of existence is to reconcile the glowing opinion we hold of ourselves with the appalling things that other people think about us.”

“There is no need to do any housework at all. After the first four years the dirt doesn’t get any worse.”

If I dont have a pen and paper with me I usually make a not of the quote in my phone then later write it down in my journal…

I keep a text file open while I browse the internet so I can quickly copy and paste quotes that I see and like (and eventually add to a notebook). I still have trouble memorizing and writing down things I hear and like when I’m out and about, or while I’m reading.

Start a quote book, and keep it in your purse/bag. Keep it small, and you’re more likely to have it with you. It has been so enjoyable to look back on, and it’s invaluable when you are looking to add something special to a card or note. I’ve been keeping a quotebook since high school, and it’s highly recommended!

This site feeds my addiction well ;). I can’t go to a new page without finding an interesting quote around here. Check this one out…

“If you judge people, you have no time to love them.”
- Mother Teresa

I think I might need a bigger book, so many things have meaning for me but still I will share my best one for me with you…
“The journey of life is not to arrive at the grave safe and well preserved. It is to slide in sideways totally worn out, shouting “Holy shit, what a ride!” – unknown
