Buy a bike and ride it!

I only work 4 miles from where I live… totally do-able. Plus it just lets me be that much more active during my day and costs less for gas. Now if I can only find it in a sweet orange color I am all set.

I know I was going to wait a couple of weeks but I have been riding my bike everywhere so I am going to check this one off the list! Done!

never gonna happen. noone rides bikes here. the relief is too steep.

Ok I have the bike. Now I just have to ride it. If I ride it more than once a week for the next couple of weeks this one is checked done!

My parents have an extra one that they are will to give me! Yay! Now to pick it up and ride it!

Ok so this goal conflicts with my goal to save money so i have decided to watch for a bike at garage sales! I can pick up a bike for a good price and save some money on it. Then having my bike can help with my goal to get in shape! Yay for planning!

My boyfriend rides BMX… so I got tired of watching him ride a bike sized for an eight year old, and told him that I should get a bike as well.

He bought me one the next day so that we could go on rides together.

It’s so much fun! Annnnnd it saves on gas! :D

i beleive i’m going to just keep the old schwinn that we have.. and possibly get new tires for it. it’s a little rusty, so i hope people at school don’t make fun of it! it’s very exciting to have something new… that you had all along and never used. it’s new to me! my mom used to ride it when i was young and it was just me and her. now i get to save the bike and ride it around. after i ride it at least 3 times, i will mark this goal as completed! WOOOOOHOOOOOO..

there’s an old schwinn in my abandoned barn.. my mom used to ride it all over the place. now, it’s just sitting there, rotting. i’m going to see if my friend, tony, will possible fix it up. i would save some money and it would be nice to save that old bike!

The other night, I went for a lovely bicycle ride with my lovely friends, erin and tony. It was around one am and was a bit of an adventure. it was great feeling the wind go through my hair. but it definitely made me realize I need a little more practice. The bike I rode was Tony’s and it seemed to be made for pros… though I was shaky, it was still delightful.. especially sharing the time with two people that i find remarkable. at one time, we stopped and ran through sprinklers… and a few minutes later, took a break to play on a public elementary school’s playground. i love being a kid again.

& will soon try to get a bike for my own! oh, and my mother gave me a combination lock today, so i’ll be able to lock my precious bike up.. once I actually have one! :D
