start my own nonprofit

I’ve always dreamed of starting up a non-profit… I’m not sure who it would benefit, since there are so many people who need assistance. I just know that I would like to make this happen someday.

Where to start, thats the hard part. To start a nonprofit you need people who believe in your mission and who will support you. So where do you fine these peopel?

Very easy, everything is online, look up your own state, fill out the paperwork, you may need to buy some books, and maybe an attorney.

I want a nonprofit that has a focus on ecological research done in an individuals own country. I think that if we are going to save or restore any of the rainforest or forests in general we have to get the local people involved. They know how different laws and changes in the ecosystem will possitively or negatively effect the local people and if that change is sustainable. The more local people know and appreciate about their community the better chance we have at conserving. These are the people we need to work with to reach any conservation goal. I eventually want to start research stations as well as an outlit for individuals to do there research.
