sweet vv is getting there!
this week
How I did it: The fist visit was the hardest. I actually was prescribed meds for ocd and phobia. After about 2 months I was able to work up the courage to go get a physical, pap, and aids/blood test. After years of being convinced I had aids and cervical cancer I was told I was completely healthy - no problems. This really changed my life. I am trying not to dwell on diseases and medical things and it is working. Next step - dentist. I havent be… Read how I did it…
sweet vv is getting there!
i must schedule an overall check-up with the family doctor and make the basic exames (blood, urine and so on)
na0 thinks that her life is only getting better day by day.
i haven’t been to a doctor is a very long time.
i don’t even recall how long it’s been.
maybe a decade… maybe longer.
plus i have some health issues i am concerned about.
i will be doing this before the end of 2008 without a doubt.
It was for Feb 8 but I had to reschedule due to having a bad cold last week.
Had my health checkup. Still waiting for the cholesterol results but he says I am in good health…
EXCEPT for my blood pressure. Unfortunately, I’ve only been keeping track since January… but oddly enough, it has gone up in February. Not sure why. Need to keep tracking it. Anyway, he wants me to go back in about a month to see how it is doing.
I haven’t been to the doctor in so incredibly long, I know it’s been at least 15 years, probably longer.
I’m 32 now and, most likely, falling apart.
I’ve probaly got all sorts of wierd 3rd-world diseases.
Lupus?! Is it Lupus?!
My insurance starts on Nov. 1, so I really should find myself a doctor and get an appointment for a basic check-up plus some stuff I haven’t had in a while like a thyroid test and an appointment with a dermatologist for a mole check, etc. Sounds really awful and like something I could really put off for a long time. But I really shouldn’t…
Suprisingly, I’m in much BETTER health than I suspected. Of course, I’m still waiting for my blood results, and she recommended I see a dermatologist to ensure that this mole on my foot isn’t melanoma (EEK!), but…
... I hate doctors, and I went, dammit!
I’m going this Friday, the 30th.
GOD, he’s probably going to tell me I have 11 kinds of cancer and herpes to boot.
I can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve seen a doctor.
