smash a guitar

Smashed a guitar over my mates head as part of an act.
It was exhilarating, the look on the front rows faces was priceless- they never saw it coming.

On a more serious note got disqualified from the competion and had to go to hospital, but hes fine and dandy now.

Id do it again in a second, smashing stuff is great.

Yesh once i get a decent guitar i will smash this stupid hand made one my cousin gave me. That shall be fun!

once its done its done, but never ever smash a Gibson Les Paul, thats just foolish. i Smashed my Squire. i miss it now

I have a feeling I’ll be really stressed one day (probably during dead-week at school)—and it will hit me, “I need a guitar!”.

We’ll see.

I smashed a ukulele in 2001. It was during a gig my band did at someone’s party. The gig wasn’t going very well. We played badly, sang badly and our set list contained 99% Metallica songs. I had brought along my school’s ukulele to smash because I had always wanted to smash a guitar. Near the end of a song I put down my guitar, picked up the ukulele and wacked it across the mic stand. The whole body disentegrated with the only recognisable piece left being the neck.

Ahhh it was good fun. I encourage all guitarists to do this.

ok… well it wasn’t a guitar, it was a bass that belonged to a friend’s ex. i got really angry one day at my own ex, and my friend told me to take my anger out on the bass. IT WAS AMAZING! i felt like a god.
