Finally tackled the obnoxious task of getting all the trim painted (thank you previous owners for painting it all a strange shade of beige). Now I just need to find the time and motivation to finish the last bit of ceiling and wall touchups, and I’ll be done! Perhaps I’ll be able to cross this off the list before 2009.
How to paint my bedroom
How I did it: I have all but finished painting my bedroom, there is only a few little bits that need finishing and then it's done.
I decided to go for all white and then when I was on my third coat of white (it needed it because I had purple before) I decided that I was going to paint the main wall in my bedroom and lovely bright pink. It looks amazing and I am glad that I went for that colour on my wall because it really stands out and looks amazing. I am glad I didn't do the colour in the whole of my bedroom because it wouldn't of looked right.
I did the wood work a blue colour which also looks good too.

Not happening. Let’s change this goal back to “paint my bedroom”.
Made quite a bit of progress this weekend. The walls are essentially done (a few more spots to touch-up), and I got to about half of the ceiling. Perhaps next weekend I can finish the rest of the ceiling and tackle the trim and finally call this done.
i moved, and now there is no need…
but i was going pretty good with this, i collected paint chips even (some really pretty shades of turquoise by ralph lauren)
I want to touch up the living room. Re-do my whole bedroom. I hate the color it is now. Paint all the boarders in the house. Give it a fresh look.
Clara Sena is amazingly, beautifully, surprisingly, wonderfully, truly happy.
Ok, that took a lot of energy.
I painted a sky on one of my walls, and the rest of the bedroom is white and yellow.
It’s very unique and special now, and I really like it! :D
Melanie is trying to get fit is trying to get over the weekend.
I am about 2/3rds of the way doing this (kinda). I was originally going to paint it white to cover up the colour it was and then paint the whole room in a nice pink.
But it’s changed because the walls have needed 3 coats of white paint so far, well I’m on the 2nd/3rd coat right now, and it’s taking ages to do it especially as I gave up on it for about 6 weeks. But now I’ve started back on it and there isn’t much to go with the white, when that’s done I decided on just doing one wall in a shocking pink colour. I think that will look pretty cool and also it won’t take as long to do and it won’t cost as much either which is also good.
i need to do something to my walls.
only problem is that i have so much artwork to hang im not sure painting would be such a good idea.
I finally managed to get round to this, I also had some damp spots on the wall so I bleached them first and then painted. I have also put up new silver/grey curtains and new tie back. New duvet in gorgeous deep purple, a new piece of art work on the wall and next thing is buy my new wardrobe and then my bedroom will finally be a place of peace and quiet with a bit of a boudouir touch :)
