play my violin

I played Violin in the 4th grade. Around 25 years old I got the craving to play again, and maybe work my way to a cello. You know, start with something familiar first, right? My wonderful parents bought me a violin for Christmas that year, and I can’t for the life of me remember how to play it. I know how to hold it very well, but not how to play it.

I’ve played for about six or seven years now but I don’t have the time to play at home and I’ve been told I’m really good…

I actually got out my violin to play today. I forgot how much I sucked at it. Well, I know my D string needs to be replaced… and I think maybe my bow aswell. I have an extra set of strings, but I don’t think I’ll ever get around to replacing the bow.

I don’t think this is ever gonna get completed.

I played the violin for about a year and a half (5th grade and a couple months in 6th grade), but got frustrated with it since everyone in my classes had started in 3rd or 4th grade and I couldn’t catch up. I’ve held onto my violin over the years (and I think even the book from 5th grade) and I want to learn again at my own pace.
