burn all my schoolwork

it’s gonna be a long time before i’ll want to do this, plus i’m not even sure anymore if i want to. sometimes i look at my homework assignments and things and i think maybe i should put them away so i can one day get them out and marvel at them. i don’t know. giving up for now. 6 years ago

My friends and I have made this a tradition. Exactly a week after school is out, we gather up every single scrap of school paper, and toss it into a big bonfire. Then, after it’s all burning, we cook burgers on it. After the flame dies down, we spread the ashes onto plants and stuff, so that the schoolwork will benefit at least one thing. We always save a bit of the ashes, and add it to a jar labeled grandma. Every year, someone else gets the jar. 6 years ago

i bundled all my work from the semester up. it was a lot more work than i remember doing. a lot of writing. when i burn things, maybe i’ll keep the papers i did well on. but definitely not keeping any of the math. hahaha! 6 years ago
