I got dressed up, gave candy to the kiddies and attended a Halloween party.
How to celebrate Halloween
It made me
Excited and happy 
"It was a great excuse to dress trashy and bring joy to myself and to others."
How I did it:
- Bought a wig and dress off ebay
- Stocked up on candy
- Dressed up in costume, wore some old fishnets, applied some makeup (lots of blush, purple lipstick)
- Greeted little ones and doled out candy
- Went out to a Halloween party where we hung out, went on a scavenger hunt and drank punch.
Lessons & tips:
- Make sure you buy enough candy. Midway through my mother had to go out and purchase more.
- Force your family to dress up too.

me helping my sons celebrate. And I get a little bit of their candy afterwards. (Not too much) But it is fun helping them choose a costume. And I love to take photos of them when they’re dressed up. I have taken them to Halloween parties in the past, too.
