I received my results and I got an A-. Which is good.

Obviously I slipped a bit on my last assignment, but overall it is just fine and I have met my goal.

Here’s a breakdown:
Assignment 1, worth 20%, mark 85%
Assignment 2, worth 40%, mark 81%
Assignment 3, worth 40%, mark 64%
Total 75%, A-

I haven’t received my results yet. Apparently the last assignments need to all be cross-checked. Results maybe in a fortnight.
I thought my last assignment was okay, the argument a bit tenuous but at least researched and sizeable.

I just received my first assignment back. And I’m happy to report that I got an A+, wahoo! It was 85%. I was pleasantly suprised because I’ve never been very strong at essay writing and was expecting to get maybe 65 or 70%. Perhaps I’m improving.

This weekend I’m working on the second assignment.

I submitted assignment 1 yesterday. I actually had to have an extension though because it’s just such a busy time of year that I struggled to complete it in around my other committments. Oh well…
Now, I have to focus on assignment 2 and not give myself a big break from it all. Assignment 2 is due on the 16th of January, so that is less than a month away – and it’ll be a hot and busy month and I’m sure I won’t FEEL like studying, but study and write I must!

This course has really already started but I’m still focussing (if you could call it that) on my second semester class.

I’d like to do well on this class as it is my first 3rd year paper.
