Have a close girlfriend

I have come a long way with my friendships lately. Even though I have a wee baby now I have been putting time aside to phone and visit my close friends.

I feel like I’ve made real progress in this area.
I’m a bridesmaid now for a girlfriend – so that is an awesome show of confidence.

I am visiting my Auckland friend again this weekend. I also found that when I was having a rough patch I was able to ring her and the other girl and talk about it.

I also seem to be making lots of new friends, such as the girl from my knitting group. And deepening my friendship with other craft buddies etc…

And planning activities with Penny (golf perhaps). Nice to see Annette too while she was here.

I just seem to be quite blessed with friends :-) You get out what you put in.

I’ve realised (christmas time seems to crystalise these things) that I do actually have close girlfriends.
I have a wonderful friend who was my bridesmaid and me hers.
I have another friend who I’ve been meeting with often over a hot choccy and we confide things to each other.
And I have a third friend who shares a hobby with me and is always up to participate in it.

So maybe I’m more blessed than I orginally thought. So what if I don’t ring them every day…. I guess that isn’t my style.
