Last Monday, I accidently had some sweets that my son gave me, so I had to start over again. After that, I was more cautious and it actually got easier after a couple of days with difficult cravings. It helps to keep busy.

Sunday was my son’s 2 1/2 birthday (yes, I celebrate half birthdays) and I made him a cake. Next time I am going to buy him a cupcake. We can decorate it together but a whole birthday cake was a really bad idea. We have had some every night this week even after I sent pieces for everyone in his daycare. Eeek.
The good news is that I have avoided the pile of chocolate in my office from people trying to dump off thier halloween candy.

I probably need to change this goal over time to go longer without sweets but let’s start with a week. I am a major sugar addict. This was fine when I could workout a lot more but since this has become harder and harder, I really need to cut back. The problem is… I have such a sweet tooth. My mother could live on chocolate. Not one of the better things that she passed on to me. This one is going to be hard.
