I saw this on TV before I left the house this morning and I suddenly want to do it again. I think I’ll have to go to a nearby forest and get some decent sticks and then try to get this done. It really would be cool to be able to do it.
I might have to settle for doing this with a home-made bow, rather than solely by hand.

I would love to be in the great outdoors and achieve this, what an acomplishment. I imagine that I would feel as though I have gone back in time, Captain Cavewoman eat your heart out!

If Bear Grylls can do it, so can I.. Seriously, I feel pretty stupid if the first humans on earth can make a fire with two sticks & I can not.

I kinda want to do this out in the open, for obvious reasons. I don’t really want to bring the sticks indoors and dry them out, either. That kinda means this’ll have to happen in the summer, which, in England, lasts for about 3 days some time in July.
I need to find the best way of doing this, without the help of a bow, or any of those other things.
If Tom Hanks can do it then so can I!
