IT was a long time ago… but the drive was great, the weather wonderful and the views even better… Early Spring… in a convertible… those were the days.

When the, Wild Flowers Bloom. x x x
On my trip to Death Valley, I saw so many different kinds of landscapes – waterfalls that became streams flowing through a valley, gold mines, snowy summits, a volcanic crater, sand dunes over 600 feet high, salt flats, salt lakes, a desert mansion, and acres of wildflowers.
I was just there this weekend, and it’s definitely “worth doing”—wild flowers or not. The landscape ranges from majestic to otherworldly, and overall unforgettable.
it was gorgeous this month and covered in wild flowers. i recommend the salt flats and the sand dunes. i miss death valley and the desert already.
Get out there now to see the wildflowers. For more info, see my weblog or flickr photostream!
due to the recent rains there has been massive wildflowers blooms in death valley. for the next week or so only!!!
