so i’ve always wanted this done &finally got a hollow needle. there was no way that my parents would ever sign for me to get it done so i knew i had to do it myself. so i get a friend to buy me a hollow needle and then find this random guy to do it. i never talked to him afterwards &never even knew his name lol. his fingernails were disgusting &i ended up sitting in the front of my friend’s exterra with the seat reclined &he just did it right then &there. it suprisingly didn’t hurt…the only part that hurt was when we were trying to twist on the top of the ring &it pinched my skin. i HIGHLY recommend getting a plain circle ring for your first belly button jewelry. i had a star ring &the top point would actually go in the hole and it was extremely painful everytime i would bend over even slightly. no, it never got infected &no it isn’t crooked ;-P

How I did it: I got my belly pierced last summer and I love it. It took about 6 months to heal and the pain to go away (pain isn't that bad btw) and a year for the swelling to go away. I think it's worth it if you have a nice body and like to go to the beach a lot. BTW the more fat on your tummy, the more it hurts....I've been told. Overall, I liked having my belly button pierced. However, I did it on a whim and didn’t do my research. I went to a crappy place, and it wasn’t straight and looked kinda weird. I regret that I did it b/c now I have an ugly scar on a tummy I worked really hard to make flat and cute. :) Oh, well.

Will im 12 almost 13 and its the summer. I like to swim alot but im willing to just layout in the sun insted. because ive herd thats a no no. and not to get in the pool. Will i know how to clean it. i had my belly button pierced over a year ago. Now i just ripped it out with a shirt. I am nervous cuz it has been a week since it has been out and is not healed. Wat should i do to make my belly button heal quicker and better?Because I want to have it repierced by my b day in may?
After 10 years or so, I finally got tired of having jewelery in my belly. I love it now all bare and smooth, with nothing to irritate or pull or get in the way. There is still a hole there, but that’s worth all those years I enjoyed having my belly pierced. I wonder if it will ever close.
i just got my bellybutton pierced a couple months ago and i absolutely luv it. it takes forever to heal and u always have to be cleaning it but i still like it.
