take incredible pictures

I need to get my Canon Rebel XTi in order to begin my photography career.
He says maybe by my birthday…which I couldn’t ask for anything more then I’m getting already this year!

This one still ranks up there as the one thing i still want to really do after all this time. i’ve recently found a great website called pioneerwoman. she goes through all of the steps to taking a great photo. everything from aperture to photoshop. i love it! now if i could just sit down and really read the lessons and then get out there and shoot.
ahh. to dream.

I finally went to the aquarium! I had an absolute blast with the exception of the horrific crowds.. I will go back…on a Monday at about 4pm so that no one can disrupt the views. Anyway, I took some shots of the fishies…none were exceptional by any means, but some have potential. Guess that means I definitely must go back!

my sister got me a lomography camera for my birthday! i haven’t finished the first roll of film yet, so i’m completely excited and entirely nervous all at the same time! i have no idea if the pictures will actually turn out okay seeing as i’ve never taken a picture with this camera before.. fingers crossed!

I’ve really actually been working on my photography. I bought a camera about a year ago in the pursuit of taking more pictures. I still don’t have a digital camera. I think it takes a lot away from “making” a picture. I use my dogs and cat as my humble subjects as they never put up a fight. I’ve yet to develop my last batch, but I’m hopeful that the ones I took on that roll are decent considering I primarily used the manual setting (eek!). In the meantime, here’s a cute one of my puppy Justice.

but interesting enough…

I’ve taken a few in my life that I’m really proud of. I just want to take photos that are inspiring, visually intriguing, and downright creative.
