this was a hard one for me. the plant barely made it. Though my bamboo plant is still do ammazing! I guess bamboo is easy though. I just bought an african violet recently so I hope that one does well come winter.

are doing so well this year. In fact, so well, I haven’t even thought of this being difficult this year. I guess bamboo plants are really good for people who don’t usually have luck with house plants.
So I have 2 plants at the moment. A Bamboo plant which I think is fairly easy to keep alive, i’ve had that one for a few months now. And another just sort of green plant I’ve had since… november probably. I want to keep them healthy and happy all winter and see them still living in June :)
I haven’t been able to keep any of the plants I’ve had a live. so since summer is just about here, I’m giving up on this for now. next winter I’ll try again :)
my plant died last week. I left it by the window during the night and I think that’s what finally did it in. Good news is though I bought a new plant a few days before the other one died and so far that one is doing really good. So I’m giving this another try.
slow death I’m afraid. It’s really looking terrible. I think the problem is I over watered it and it’s in a pot that won’t drain. I know that happened to some plants I had outdoors. So that could be it. I’m going to keep trying but I think I might get a new plant too.
I’m seriously going to cry if this plant dies. I’ve been fighting so hard for nearly 3 months to keep it alive. Or has it only been 2 months, it seems like awhile. Anyway, the point is I never paid so much attention to a plant before. It suddenly lost a lot of leaves again in the last week.
It’s been suggested I keep it in the bathroon, but I have no windows in my bathroom so it won’t get enough light there. I’ve been meaning to take it in when I shower so it’ll get the steam. It being a tropical plant this might be good for it, but I’ve fogtten to do that all week long. I have been watering it regularly and keeping it in a warm sunny place. It was sick when I bought so I know maybe there’s not much I really can do. But I’m not giving up!
Yay! It’s starting to perk up a little. The leaves aren’t looking so droopy. It’s still got a lot of leaves that have turned yellowish-green, but overall it’s looking better. I’ve been giving it house plant food, moved it to a warmer spot, and have been better about remembering to water it.
Well my plant seems to be hanging on. I’ve given it plant food and put it in a sunnier spot and have been trying my best to remember to water it. But it’s still looking sick. This is a picture I just took of it with my webcam.
I should get one of those little mini plant mister bottles and keep it next to it, that way it’ll get more water.
uh oh! my little plant isn’t looking to good. When I bought it it had some yellow leaves and I thought that they were suppose to be that color, but I was in the flower section of the grocery store the other day and saw my exact same plant there. Well lots of them all potted for sale, but none of them had yellow leaves. So I’m thinknig that I bought a sick plant. Even more of a chalange. And it’s really been looking poorly lately. Maybe I will give it some plant food. I can’t let it die!
