I bought an older Dodge Ram (1994) just before Christmas 06 on a whim because we had recently moved to the country and found that a truck might be useful.
I just didn’t realize how useful!! Get one and every day you will say “how did I live with out this” Plus they are totally fun to drive. You are higher up and can see further ahead in traffic.
Downside is they don’t seat a lot of people and they are hellish on gas. Also a pain in the ass to drive/park in a big city.
Toyota is supposedly the most reliable and holds its resale value best but they are also very pricey.
There are lots of used trucks on the market in North America so if you live here you shouldn’t have a problem getting a used one.
Mine only cost 3000.00.
