KissMiss stepping on that plane headed for Germany...
what a delightful idea, it ties in well with my Bookcrossing.
glamourbombing is planned for my 21st bday party this w’end… I mean, I’m all, all, ... ah lets see. I think I’ll put around realms of tiny soft white squares of paper and some coloured pencils for people to write each other things… poems, drawings, writing… and I shall also, ah, I think use random glamourbombs (empty eggshells filled with sparkles and quotes etc) and maybe also ummmm… stuff ;)
And hand them to people as they go… or… something… cause if they are lying around people might not take them. We’ll see anyway!
EDIT : it went okay actually. not top notch but okay. i scattered 48 shades of brown quotes around on squares of paper. :D

i wrote out some nice stuff on the back of two old fashioned valentines day cards, nice stuff about how they have a pretty face and are truly beautiful and stuff. we are having a big event in my town this weekend and i plan on sticking them in random places where i know they will be found and hope they brighten someones day. i might stay and watch…to see if anybody finds it, and if it really does brighten there day..but it really would be a disapointment if i saw someone read it and laugh, then throw it on the ground! hmmm

About two years ago I had a 43 things account. I had forgotten my name/password etc and was pretty sure my goals would’ve changed a lot anyway so I made a new one.
I just found my old account and a lot of the things I want to do havn’t changed! But good news is I’ve also managed to actually do some of the things I wanted to!
Glamourbombing was amongst my original 43 things.
I love the idea of spreading a little bit of magic. I once read of glamourbombing being perceived as a random act of kindness when really it is a senseless act of beauty. I love that. A senseless act of beauty. We need more of that in today’s world.
I love it’s random act of kindess touch – a poem or inspiration letter tucked in a library book or book in a bookstore for someone to read – what about a love letter left to the person who finds it? I know that would brighten my day!
I think the world has gotten too cynical… I think I’m getting too cynical. What’s wrong with a little magic, a little wonder? Right now, it seems like most people could use a little wonder in their lives, but would they believe it if they saw it or would they rationalize it into a neat, little compartment? Would they even see it—those walking around talking on their cells or using their I-pod headphones, busy trying to get from point a to point b without actually seeing where they are going? There’s a little magic all around, but nobody ever really looks.
