get a faux hawk

It was really liberating! I shaved my head and as it grew in i had a faux hawk. And I’m a girl!

ok faux hawk is basicly put up exactly like a mohawk except in this case you have all your hair to deal with

I used elmers school glue for my mohawk and i used gel for my faux hawk but it didnt stay up well so i suggest elmers school glue because it will stay up

Step 1: first you must make sure your hair is straightened and then comb (NO BRUSHES) it to one side

step 2: use one half of the comb(i perfered the half with finer teeth aka smaller ones) and comb up a good chunk of hair. grab the hair with one hand and comb the rest of the hair back

step 3: now that you have a good chunk of hair grab some glue(or what ever) and get a nice glob of it. rub it on both hands and push your hair up into the faux hawk. tho it wont stay just do it a littleso all the hair is damp with glue.

step 4: take your comb and comb it up as you get to the end of your hair thencurl the comb to the side and grab your hair. Then hold the hair up along with the comb to give you a better grip, use your blow dryer and ZAMO you got 1 part of your hawk done.

Step 5: now spin your comb backwards and basicly do all that over again. dont worry about making it perfect there will be gaps at first but well deal with it later.

Note: when doing the back its= helps to use second mirror not a tiny one but one like 6 inches tall and 4 wide tho it doesnt matter if its 4 tall and 6 wide you can just turn it but it helps so you can straighten it out.

Step 6: ok after you get all the hair up, you wana make sure you dont have any really tight together clumps i mean there will be clumps but youll see and the gaps you want closer to gether and evenly space. So you take a little more glue not water because itll weaken it. but basically take some glue and not alot just a little bit and put it on the base of the gap area and a little bit of surounding put your fingers at the tips of the hair and pull it together a bit and hold it as you then blow dry. and for spreding out basicly you dont use glue at all just pull it away a bit and if it still gives you trouble give it a bit of glue and blow dry.

hmmm notes: ok so while doing this after doing a section it might be best to let it dry for a bit. then once all of its dry i found it looks FRIGIN AWSOME when you pull the chunks apart after they dry. and remember do it in sections not all at once its way easier unless of course you have a friend helping.

PARENTS SUCK: if parents are being jerks do as follows.

Step 1: Ask them why they wont let you put one up.
Step 2: express your feelings calmly on why you want to have one. I.E.:I want a fauz hawk to express myself, I want a faux hawk to experement with my hair, I want a faux hawk to help me find my identity. I’m at a stage in my life where I am searching for my identity. You may think that it looks rediculous but you did rediculous things to at my age. I need to do my own rediculous and stupid things to experience life so I can learn on my own how to be a good person and a better person. You cant protect me from doing stupid things that you did or that you might be embariced by. If your embaraced by things i do and you dont want to let me try to learn who i am than you dont love me or your just not a good parent. if you dont want me to dress a certain way then you dont respect me and you shouldnt get respect from me. I need to be able to express myself in all ways that i can. By dress, by music, by religion, by political status, and by any other means that i may soon come in contact with. As long as it doesnt hurt me or anyone else then why cant i express myself in that way.
