i love cookie dough, only when it is raw. i ate a 5 lb. bucket of raw cookie dough and it took me a week to eat all of it. i had it for breakfast,lunch and dinner. very good. 4 years ago

But it is so good! Yes, along with baking cookies comes eating the dough. I don’t let the kids eat it, but when they’re not looking I snack a bit. I’ve always eaten dough as a child and never got salmonella. 5 years ago

I used to be one of those kids who thought raw cookie dough would be ‘yucky’. Then I actually tried some. Lo and behold a delight! I’ve stopped baking cookies. A recipe calling for two dozen might get 18 cookies actually made.

A thought to perhaps balance out the raw egg fear: raw ginger is supposed to be good for the stomach, so come Christmas try the gingerbread cookie dough. 5 years ago
