i want to be artistic. my4 yr old daughter could draw and color and paint and use stickers and sissors all day long. and i mean, all day. i just recently started a craft ive been planning for a while. im making cookbooks for my best friend, stepmom and mother-in-law. each of these women inspire me everyday. and we all are MEAN cooks in the kitchen. that is where my talent lies,the kitchen..but i want to try different avenues.children get such thorough enjoyment from drawing and creating..i want to find the enjoyment as well.i want to finish what ive started with my kids scrapbooks. meet talented people and try lots of new things. you dont have to have talent, as long as your heart is in the right place..people will love it.
How to be artistic
How I did it: Tired of corporate world and my artistic hobbies. Stayed home to raise little one and ended up opening a couple of shops to sell my art. Over the years I had sold paintings and artworks in commission shops and once I took a summer off to sell at craft shows. Online venues and ebay helped me to get started selling purely online. I now have my work in several venues online including Etsy, LolliShops, Mintd, Dawanda, Artfire, and eBay.
Lessons & tips: Make only what you love. Be inspired. Keep notes of new ideas. Stick to a schedule when deadlines beckon. Always conduct professional transactions. Never tell customer that you work in jammy pants and slippers. Unless they think that's cool.

Here are the two things I am mostly likely to do:
1. composing music (probably with MIT’s HyperScore);
2. writing poems in English and Chinese.
Rajdeep is more awake at night than in the daytime...
I started digi scrapbooking and I love it….now just need to do traditional paper scrapbooking….it really is fun to do and it adds dimension to the photos.
Can’t wait to try altered art projects….anything creative I’m gonna try!
I’ve joined an art class and am actually enjoying it a lot! My teacher even says I’m pretty good/ improving.

Art is always fascinating to me. It amazes me how an artist can do some artistic things with such ease and grace.
I’ve tried to:
1) paint
2) play music
3) write poems and science fictions
4) dance
I found I had absolutely no talent in 2) and 4) probably due to my lack of feel with rhythms, but I may be able to change that; I may take another shot at 1) and first I need to go through some rigorous training if possible; I will most likely have more fun at doing 3) since I am very sensitive to languages and words, and sometimes imaginative and sentimental.
