kayak in the sea with confidence

Last week I ordered the upgraded gunnels and a seating conversion kit for my Sea Kayak. The Gunnels are to get ready for adding a Sail kit for my kayak. The Sail kit will allow me to take advantage of the nearly constant wind around my area. It will allow me to sail both upwind and downwind. The kit would look like this.

Those things are so amazingly stable. I have kayaked up and down the west coast and in Puerto Rico. Let’s see…

Not bad, hope to do more! Perhaps in Hawaii when I am there in 2007. I know, I plan my trips way in advance. But then it’s something to look forward to!

The sound… but never in the open ocean. I need to work on my skills but I love the time I get to spend Kayaking. Oh, and having company with you really does make the experience really fun.

I’ve been once and was almost swept away to sea. My next kayak adventure will be in a two person boat. If I get swept away, at least I’ll have company.
