Cansu confused...
I want to lose weight. And I want to get my body moving.
But somewhat I cannot stop and watch what I eat. I hate it. I have my summer holidays now, so absolutely nothing to be done other than getting bored, which of course, gets me in front of the fridge more often than normal…
So? Walking 30 minutes every day shouldn’t be all that bad, huh?
I hope so. I’ll try hard to make sure that I do it everyday. Seriously.

Since my foot surgery and the buying of comfortable walking shoes, I have been motivated and able to walk. If I can walk daily for the next two weeks, I’ll consider this goal completed.
is walking in the park. i have a metro park within 5 minutes from work with walking and hiking trails totaling about 8 miles, nice scenery and very quite in afternoons. i average 2 miles in about 30 minutes at a good pace, 1 1/2 on a slow day. I’ve been doing this weather permitting for about 3 months now and hopefully i can keep this up more frequently in the coming months.

I must have walked three miles today. I walked up and down the city in the blistering heat (wear sunscreen kitties!). This past weekend, I bought a pair of sandals from The Walking Company, and I love them. Usually, my feet and knees would have given up on me. I think the sandals made a huge difference.

My plan is to get up with my husband and walk him to the train station. At leas I’ll be walking five days a week with this plan.

I have a new motivation to walk everyday. After running some tests, my doctor discovered that I have low vitamin D levels. In addition to taking supplements and eating foods rich in the nutrient, he recommended getting some sunlight.

It has been beautiful outside that last few days. I been going out more and more. I walked for an hour today and worked up a good appetite.

I need to start walking to supplement my working out. I don’t always have the motivation to go to the gym; so walking will become my second chance at redemption. If I workout in addition to walking, all the better.
