Finally cleaned my carpet, BUT... 1 year ago

I cleaned it last Monday…rented a carpet cleaner from Wal-Mart and already it looks almost as bad as it did before the cleaning. My a/c is leaking and causing water to spread beneath the carpet…looks like I’ve got another issue to fix before cleaning the carpet again…
