write beautifully

Lots of people have been complimenting my handwriting since I started practicing the Italic style. I can write pretty quickly in a simpler style I’ve developed — 100 words in about three minutes. All of the people to whom I have shown the handwriting style think it’s neat and legible.

The other style I’ve developed for myself, which is basically the same thing as the simpler style, except it has serifs, only looks good when I write extremely slowly — 100 words in about eight minutes.

I still think both of them are extremely messy, albeit legible, and am constantly trying to improve. Sometimes, I think I’m overly critical of myself…

My mind set currently is that my writing is actually wretched. In some cases it most certainly is. But I finally figured out today that if I actually put my heart and soul into pieces then perhaps all will turn out for the better. Perhaps I will be able to have a chance. To think such simple realizations come to you despite the expert advice of your friends. Now to be all knowledgable about history and to retain the facts that past teachers had fail to do so.
