I have been looking into this and practicing a lot. www.ld4all.com is a VERY useful site on the topic, so you should check it out.
How to master lucid dreaming
How I did it: I did it by accident the first time. Then once i heard the term 'lucid dreaming' then I did some research on the internet and learned how to do it.
Lessons & tips: Relax....don't try too hard. Just think about it every time you sleep, and if you wake up in the night, remember that you were just dreaming...then go back to sleep and get back in the dream (knowing this time that you can control everything).
Resources: The book "Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge is a basic book that got me going on lucid dreaming. After that read his book "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming".

I did it a couple times, and thus dreamed that I totally got with Raven Symoné at a cinema. Pathetic, yes. Hopeful, YES.
I’ve been meditating quite a bit again lately. Also, I’m going through some old emotional garbage. All in all, something is causing me to have a better dream recall again. I even write some down again, but I don’t have to write them down to remember them. Remembering boobs and butts is just too much fun! :-)
I’ve set a challenge because I feel like I’m at the verge of really being able to become lucid in every dream. Maybe, then, some day, I’ll also be able to become lucid when I’m awake. ;-)
Since my last entry, I haven’t recalled the experience of any new lucid dreams.
I’m still not in the mood again for writing down my dreams in the morning. Maybe this will change after my driver’s test.
But, I have been meditating regularly again, so maybe that’ll help achieve the clarity of awareness which precedes lucidity in my dreams (as well as my days).
The last two nights I’ve had quite vivid lucid dreaming experiences. I won’t go into much detail, because the dreams themselves were more than a little bit pointless and very personal (read: non-interesting). Maybe, tomorrow-morning, I’ll go into more detail if tonight I make one of my dreams a little more interesting.
Since I’ve been having many lucid dreams already since I started on my goal to lucid dream, I’ve now changed my goal to the mastering of lucid dreaming.
Soon, I’ll follow up on my old progress.
The Original Optimist is contemplating what tomorrow will bring
I haven’t exactly mastered it, but in almost all of my dreams I remember that I’m in a dream and start taking control. It’s really strange; once I had a dream and I remembered a fact from reality and used it in the dream. Does that make any sense? If it does, has this happened to anyone else?
I had a dream the other night where I was running late and I couldn’t find my car in a big parking lot. I was getting very frustrated when I stopped myself and remembered that this was a dream and I could do whatever I wanted. So I concentrated (in the dream) and decided that when I turned around, my car would be there and I could move on. I did, and it worked!
when i was younger i rarely wasnt lucid dreaming, but now as i grow older and happier my lucid dreams are becoming infrequent. Perhaps i’m being greedy, as before in a less happy stage of life i needed to dream lucidly to overcome fear of nightmares. Now i’m a very happy person who rarely has nightmares too bad to stand. Perhaps it would be too good.
