this is why i am late to work every day. i can’t sleep at night and then don’t want to wake up in the morning. when i do wake up, i feel like shit. we have been going to bed earlier, but my boyfriend will sleep while i watch tv or play on my iphone (don’t get one, you will waste sooo much time!). i really want to put more effort into getting on a normal sleep schedule.

Tri needs to make an effort. Seriously.
I didn’t go to bed early at all last night… in fact, I went to bed about 3:30 AM! I did, however, wake up at 6 AM… and although I was tired and wanted to go back to sleep, I couldn’t. I think tonight perhaps I’ll be able to sleep easier…
Go to bed about 9.30 and wake up at 6am at the latest!
Something I do all the time is go ‘oh my gosh i’m so exhausted that i can’t acctually do anything…’ and then i stay up watching tv!! I don’t get it!! So this year I have to just cut out TV on school nights! There is too much work and other constructive things to do!
Also, when I’m worn down from assessments etc. I should REST MORE, so go to bed even earlier so it doesnt build up the entire term until I get sick!
I’m going to have to gradually start this goal now. Cause I’m on holidays and I stay up until like 1 and way up around 10 or 11. I need to get into the rhythmn and also wake up earlier so i can get all the work done before school starts!

Because of Jan term, I am having to get up around 9 AM everyday, which is pretty early for me. But I have been doing it.
Also, I have fallen asleep at 12:30 AM and 1:30 AM the last two nights respectively. Big deal for me! Getting more than 6 and a half hours of sleep is amazing.

I’ve been horrible with this goal lately. I’ve gotten on the schedule of falling asleep around 3 or four AM every night. And the last three days I’ve slept in until noon, even missing a class that morning because my mind refused to wake up. I should just bite the bullet and wake up at 6 AM tomorrow to help get myself back on a schedule.
I feel awful waking up at noon. Makes me feel so lazy.
Since the last entry I wrote for this goal, it seems as though my body has gotten completely used to a regular schedule. I am doing exactly what I set out to do. Go to bed earlier and waking up earlier (at least no later than 9:30). The only thing that may mess me up every once and a while is my medication that I take for my epilepsy which makes me very sleepy. Overall I’m really happy with my regular sleeping schedule now :)
It’s amazing what waking up at 6:20 AM does to my mood throughout the day. Just… amazing. I’m going to keep this up.

During High School I used to fall asleep around one – two AM and have to wake up at seven AM; now I fall asleep around one thirty AM and wake up at eight forty-five AM. I am getting about seven hours of sleep now. I could use a lot more though; try nine!
So I’ve been doing pretty well with this lately. Partly because Tuesdays and Wednesdays I have to be up early for school, and I recently acquired a job that requires me to get up early on weekends! What better time to get up early than on the weekends. Really though, I like it, so thats four days out of the week that I HAVE to get good sleep, and the rest are just easy. I’m really happy that I have been accomplishing this goal.
I was going to bed at no earlier than 2AM even on school nights, but I’ve realized that I can’t do that anymore, I’m taking control. So now I go to sleep before midnight, and wake up between 630 and 8AM.
