Currently I do meaningless work for a meaningful person. In the final analysis I am able to pay for my children’s education, feed, clothe and care for their and my needs, more or less. So to a man or woman on a dancing horse, it could fall close on a bell curve to meaningful work.
But . . .
I long to do something creative, tangible, constructive, pure, where I can get my hands dirty, be involved with other people, challenge and be challenged, grow, go to sleep tired from working hard both physically and mentally and wake up happy to do the task at hand that is part of a grand design that empowers and encourages other people. I have no goal for money, if I could find this job and my immediate needs were met, I’d be rich.
Is that asking for too much?
