Well, I’m pretty good, I get get a D on difficult TOKYOEVOLVED, and an AA on a couple level 7/6 expert songs, but I want to be good at the hard ones. My main goal is to get an A on THE REASON by Black Rose Garden on expert level 9!

i think the real trick to ddr is “customizing” it to
ur abilities.lol i tried ddr in a chair…not a good idea….but wat i mean is doing it that way they show u isnt always wat works for u.

one good thing to do before a session is a good stretch, ddr is next to impossible if u just rolled out of bed,or had a nice starbuck frapiccino.i use ddr as a workout so i dont nessisarily focus on points but latley ddr has been popping out of nowhere. so its for me to get ta stepping.

ps.my warm-up is a yoga dvd followed by a pilates dvd.
its a bit too much but,hey it definatly stretches the limbs.

Practice, Practice Practice 4 months ago

With the help of my red octane metal pad, I’ve been able to achieve this. I would love to play the next gen versions, but there’s no good converter from PS2 to 360 that’s under $90!

Morghanza is ready.. for what? not sure.

Tried a coupla songs on Basic level on training mode… and I think with a little more work, I’ll pass ‘em on game mode :-P. Small progress… but I was beginning to think I wouldn’t ever be able to get past beginner, and it looks like I might. yay!

So i successfully injured my ankle to the point that even thinking of playing wonderful DDR is agony. I have had to give up this wonderful addiction :’(

slowly working my way up... 1 year ago

When I first started SuperNOVA, I was still in the standard/difficult setting, doing most songs and being ok… had trouble with songs like Xepher and Doll and especially Max 300…. but after about 3 months of playing on SuperNOVA at least once or twice a day, I’m moving up onto Expert/Heavy difficulty. I now play (and pass with an A or B) almost every song on Expert, including A, V for Extreme, Doll, Xepher, and Sakura… though still havent upgraded to expert on Max 300… but i can pass that with an A on standard. I’ve just started to amp up my “training” by putting the speed at 1.5x and playing several rounds without any breaks to increase endurance and eye-foot coordination. And lately, I have been listening to my favorite songs on my MP3 player, that way I have the songs completely memorized when I go to play them on Expert and so I know how the song goes and then I can put the steps in according to the music… I do a few challenges and pass, and I was even feeling confident enough to try Doll on challenge, and I barely failed, so the training continues…

Beating stuff on expert! 1 year ago

A few months ago I bought DDR Super Nova. I sucked – really bad. I always brought my foot back to the center and could never get the beat down. I practiced every day and eventually learned to stay away from the center. I still have a bit of trouble on the ‘quick step arrows’ or half note arrows (whatever they are. You know what I mean. ^^) but other than that I’m doing good. I can play any song on difficult/standard (including Xepher. I was very excited about that!) and most on expert. I try to play for an hour everyday. I’ve lost at least 10 pounds too! :3 What a wonderful game! Keep dancing everyone.
