play violin better

I’ve played violin since 4th grade but haven’t improved much technically since college; I’ve actually lost some speed and a lot of sight reading ability (though I don’t need that much anymore). I have more “feel” and improv skills now that I’ve been playing in a band for a few years, but it’s time to grow again…incorporate more stylistic elements from folk, country, bluegrass, and Celtic fiddling, all of which I love, and improve my chops in the process… Well, that’s the idea, anyway.

I have played for over 10years but hadn’t had lessons for 3years. I started again with a teacher i already knew and knew was an excellant player. After just one lesson i feel like i play so much better and it keeps gettin better week on week.
