Get a spiral perm

I don’t have very long hair at all as you can see in my picture. It is a vrey flat hair and very thin. I had also just gotten a cut that has short hair up at the top in the back.
What I want to acheive is a spiral perm. But do yuo think that I should go for just a wave perm first because of how short my hair is at this point in time???

Alright, so I’m thinking of getting a spiral perm done just before Prom, but I’m not sure if I should. All the stories of how it fries your hair and what-not. I have thin hair (as seen in photo) and am unsure. Anyone have any advice?

Is mostly out but still in enough to give my hair some body but isn’t getting tangled like crazy like it was at the start. Also if I want the pretty spirals back I just have to wash it and put hold/gel stuff in it. So still great :)

Okay I love how the perm looks but its SO much work!! Not sure I’d get it done again. Got to put gel in, style it, etc. etc. Lots more work then I’m used to putting into my hair and not sure if it’s worth it. Straight hair is a lot less work.

Been meaning to get a spiral perm done for over 5years now, think even longer and just never had the guts or the money to do it. Finally done. Different from what I originally wanted but I like it. Hope it lasts in my hair though. Lots of money if it just falls out within a month or so. We’ll see but loving it at the moment :D
