Just added Water Song 1 year ago

I just purchased a copy of Water Song by Suzanne Weyn (The Frog Prince) to my collection and am enjoying it very much.

New Faerie Tales 2 years ago

I recently purchased several re-told faerie tales that are truly wonderful. They are from a Young Adult series called Once Upon A Time but they are wonderful reads. I have:

Beauty Sleep by Cameron Dokey (Sleeping Beauty)
    Golden by Cameron Dokey (Rapunzel)
Snow by Tracy Lynn (Snow White)
The Storyteller’s Daughter by Cameron Dokey (Arabian Nights)
Midnight Pearls by Debbie Viguié (The Little Mermaid)

I want to get the following:
Spirited by Nancy Holder (Beauty and the Beast – loosely based)
The Night Dance by Suzanne Weyn (Twelve Dancing Princesses)
Sunlight and Shadow by Cameron Dokey (The Magic Flute)
Scarlet Moon by Debbie Viguié (Little Red Riding Hood)
Water Song by Suzanne Weyn (The Frog Prince)
Before Midnight by Cameron Dokey (Cinderella)

And they lived happily ever after 3 years ago

My brother gave me a whole book full of Grimms fairy tales. I love that book. I would really love to have some Hans Chritian Anderson also. Not only that but alternative versions of traditional fairy tales. I kind of of lump myths and legends under here too. I’m always looking for a new story to read!

    sleeping beauty 3 years ago

I collect Sleeping Beauty books, versions of all kinds, because I re-wrote the Sleeping Beauty story myself in a new version called Bad Fairy (the events from the “bad fairy’s” point of view). I like to be well-informed about the various versions of the story, so I collect Sleeping Beauty versions. I have over forty. I want to get a bunch more versions, especially interested in illustrated versions so I can see how the bad fairy, good fairies, and the princess are portrayed.
