Finally, today I went back to the gym. I was very busy and used it as an exuse. Also because ones you haven’t gone….it seems to be harder to start up again. But today, I went and it felt great.
I hope to get a very good endurance before January 2010, that’s when I am planning to get back in the game (tennis). But before I can get back on the court, my cardio and muscles have to be in better shape. At least to be able to play matches on high level again. Wish me luck!
How to get better physical endurance
How I did it: i started with the BUD/S warning order that i found online reading about how badass the navy seals are
i mean honestly can you run 14 miles or swim 8 miles against the ocean
and workout day and night for 5 days straight?
.....
all after jumping out of a C-130
Lessons & tips: stick with it .... follow the BUD/S warning order
but also listen to your body if your body says with every fiber of its being dont do this it hurts stop oh dear god stop.... try one more if it dont work then stop.... rest
then get that one more ASAP
but always ASK YOUR DOCTOR IF YOURE HEALTHY ENOUGH TO START WORKING OUT WHENEVER YOU DO ANYTHING

I used to be addicted to working out. I did it for the calorie burn and weight loss because I was obsessed with losing weight. However it backfired and I just became unhealthy and insane. Now I excercise with a pure goal of feeling good.
I ran track in high school (about 6 years ago). I would like to get back to my running endurance from then but I know it takes intense workouts and training. I ran along a canal the other day and no matter how hard I wanted to push myself I kept finding reasons to stop. But I started to set small goals… there are various telephone poles every so many feet and so when I’m feeling weak I at least push myself to the next pole.
I am starting the couch-to-5k-training method. Wish me luck!

(just started track) I seem to get tired really easily as well. I need to work on my endurance to keep up with my friends.
over the past two years my physical endurance has improved a lot thanks to joining karate, which has made my life much better and easier. i still have to work on my endurance when running long distances though, thats always been my toughest area. especially since everything has lots of running involved in it.

getting stronger as I worked on rewilding skills last weekend. Trekking up and down the hilly terrain, fleshing/stretching deer hides, working my bowdrill…
so awesome.

my friend Scott and I were talking. He expressed a desire to do some hiking this summer.
I said, “In one month, I will go hiking with you. I’ll be able to keep up with you in one month.”
Gulp.
