discover more good music

This was my gift to myself for giving a good presentation at a conference last week. I can’t wait to load it up with my old songs and a few cool apps I’ve heard about. Yeaaaaa!!!!! I’ll post any good new tunes I discover as I navigate through iTunes. I’d like to buy more music from Amazon, but I need to find out how to get it loaded onto my iPod. They haven’t different formats, so I think they must need to be converted to get them to load onto my iPod. Tricky tricksters at Apple aren’t making that so easy for me.

Because really, there will always be good music to discover

i got a new computer. and my lovely sister helped me set it all up.
and download some pretty music.

she has excellent taste.
i should start going to her more often.

anything that consists of good lyrics. meaning they have actual meaning to them, or that i can relate in some way or another, or they make sense.
it also has to consist music(sounds) made from real intruments.. like drums and guitars.
there are a few exceptions.

but thats my main reasoning why i like all kinds of music.

there are exceptions to every genre.
trust me.

i found a modest mouse song that is nott so what popular by anyone, and is crazy.

i love it.
dont know the name but its on my ipod and will forever be with me.

dont ask how i even found it…
cause frankly my dear, i have no idea.

i highly recommend all of their music to anyone who doesnt understand, and who doesnt want to understand.

Lots of great local musicians around Northern Michigan!!

I’ve opened my ears to a whole new world of gorgeous sounds, tunes, and melodies.

It takes a long time (and is a continuing process), but it definitely worth it. I adore my iPod and am proud of my iTunes collection!

music blogs, such as stereogum.com, aurgasm.us, or use hypem.com to see a ton of great music blogs and read them all in the same place
music festivals, cheap or free concerts

I strongly recommend their shop – used CDs in near-perfect condition, the prices are incredibly cheap/fair and the vibe is nice and cool. :)
