her name is Scarlett Bjork, and she is a red guppie. And her tank-mate is my roommate’s fish, named Jack Skeleton. I love them!
How to get a pet fish

How I did it: i was at home with my boyfriend and we were bored so i suggested that we go to the pet store and get a beta fish. just our luck...they didn't have any beta fish. but they did have 39 cent goldfish. you can't even buy a drink for that price! and we had the food from when we had fish in our pond so we were all set! After tax, it came to 41 cents! still pretty decent! and with the extra change, we donated it for animals in need.
Lessons & tips: have everything ready before you go to the pet store!

I’ve done this and it’s definetly worth doing! I’ve got so attached to my little fish, i’d be lost without their cute lil faces in my bedroom

i had black mollies that seem to be fine in the huge tank at the store with 10 or more but i brought home 3 and they get territorial, 2 of them went up against one and picked at him for about a day until he died… then they went after each other but the one that survived was only missing a few little scales… so i bough another one and put it in there and he killed the new one so i named him cannibal and let him live all alone until he died lol… but i would like to get more fish someday.

I got a fighting fish, and it was cool for the first 1 or 2 days, but then I got bored of it, and it died in like two weeks anyway. Fish just aren’t meant to live in little fish tanks.

tonight me and my friend got bettas. it was so fun because we didn’t plan it or anything. & we wanted a fish for a while and we went for it.
