I was the person in high school whose mom would call her out of gym just so she didn’t have to run a mile. I have been jogging 2-3 times a week for the past three weeks now and I have completely noticed a difference. A while ago my boyfriend and I went jogging down the street and I made it about 2 blocks before I stopped…today I did the same stretch and made it almost 5 blocks before I just walked the rest. I know it’s not very far, but man I felt so good about myself! I eventually would love to run a marathon.

I finally got up my strength and “wind” enough to jog longer… I even ran a 5k race which is 3.1 miles although I didn’t jog the whole time. I alternated joging and fast walking. I felt a deep sence of acomplishment after I finished. I wasn’t trying to win, of course, only to do the race the best I could… I may try another one in another month or so. It was fun. I continue to train in my health club.

after going to the gym pretty much regularly for about 3 or 4 months, i successfully jogged half a mile the other day. i don’t understand why i can go on the elliptical for so long, but when it comes to jogging, i get tired so fast. i just hate jogging. i could have jogged longer, but i hate doing it. by the end of the summer, i’ll jog my mile.

I have never been good at aerobic exercises, and I have wanted to be able to do this since I was young. I can currently jog about half a mile before I start to want to walk. I can walk forever, though! I walked 6 miles yesterday!
