How to get Botox
How I did it: went to a very nice dermatologist recommended by a friend - Dr. Joyce Davis on park Ave in NYC. She was quick and efficient, her team seemed normal and not collagened or botoxed to death. Not cheap but I liked her consultation style and professionalism. If you go to her, tell her I sent you! Maybe i'll get a freebie next time!
Lessons & tips: it does hurt a bit to do the collagen. the botox was painless. looks a bit strange during the first few days while your forehead is freezing. no one noticed what i had done but they all said i looked so rested and calm!!! what more can you ask for.

I do believe in minor cosmetic procedures and think this is harmless enough. I would like to have it for “prevention” of wrinkles. I hate wrinkles, they look awful and although I appreciate aging ect ect, I just havent accepted that yet. This is one thing I would like to do.
but I’m not trying to erase the character or experience on my face. I think I just want to wipe away other people’s bootprints! The only lines that are really bothering me are the frown lines and worry lines on my forehead—they get so much worse when I’ve been mistreated (not stressed, not overworked, but out-and-out betrayed).
Getting rid of these lines would be like throwing out the stuff a jerk ex-boyfriend left behind, or dumping the employee manual from a company that unfairly fired me. Plus, I want people to see how I feel now—not the leftover expressions of old griefs.
I’ve done my homework, but it will take a while to save and prep for this one. Something for the new year!
I really need some serious freshening up. Unfortunatley I can’t afford it yet. But I will so this is on my list!
Ok, while I got Botox for reasons other than cosmetic (migraines), I still took injections in my forhead, between my eyes and in my temples. I hate needles, but side from that I didnt like the way it made melook “forzen” (mainly between the eyes)
And, what really sucks-it didnt work!
Just my 2 cents.
Those frown lines between my eybrows…becoming permanent…I’m too young for that. The treatment took all of 5 minutes, cost $300 and the damage is now stopped in its tracks. In fact, I think I can see it improving a bit…but maybe that’s just wishful thinking. Find a BOARD CERTIFIED FACIAL PLASTIC SURGEON to do it. If any of those words are missing from the title…go elsewhere…too many nightmares!
Totally worth doing.
my eyebrows are far too high and keep on climbing as I’m growing older. They’re not even climbing at the same pace.
Makes me look like a sad clown
A little bit of botox would bring my eyes brows to a more reasonable level and I’d look a little bit less clown-like.
I wouldn’t live without it. I smile a lot-and use plenty of facial expressions…add plenty of time in the sun; and you’ve got premature ageing-but not anymore…hssshhhh ;)
