Got mine on 4/24/07

I wasn’t sure if this would be a goal worth having after I realized how random the Explore selection process is. I thought there was no way to find out if my photos made Explore unless I just happened to come accross it. Thanks to entries for this goal, I found the tools at http://www.bighugelabs.com/flickr to be ever so awesome. I’m going to add a widget to my page, and check Scout often.

So, although I don’t think I’ll sell it (the popularity makes me like it too much), it’s nice to know that it’s soo good people are actually willing to pay money. To me. For taking pictures.

I had no idea Flickr had an ‘interestingness’ until recently, when someone said they’d seen one of my ladybird pics on it. I don’t get many visits or comments on my photos so I have to admit that I was rather surprised (and chuffed!).

I agree it’s pretty much a crap shoot. Although a cute girl in a costume seems to be my formula for success.
