I’m really glad I did this because otherwise turning 30 would have been very depressing. I got to talk to friends and neighbors who had been there. People enjoyed themselves playing games, talking, and eating. I got to sing to everybody. The photo booth and costumes were a great touch that people enjoyed. One boy skipped a party with his friends because he didn’t want to leave! I love that my family was here to help and support me. I loved showing them around my town. Most of all, I am grateful for a husband who loved me through it all. 8 months ago

It will be the day before my party, and I will be baking the cupcakes and having butterflies. It’s the first party I’ve ever thrown, and it’s the first time I host anything at my house. My biggest fear is that people won’t come or that they won’t have a good time. Otherwise, I feel pretty good. It’s a cute theme and it should be fun. I’m using this long weekend to get stuff done, like fixing and cleaning things around the house, or ordering food. 8 months ago

I’ve never hosted a proper party so it would be fun to do it sometime! Essential things would be nice people to invite and some good entertainment, good music is really important but karaoke or some similar activity could be fun also. Although I’m allergic to people that are more or less tone deaf so it might annoy me depending on who’s participating hehe.
I would also serve a lot of alcohol and snacks :)
This is a goal I might be able to finish once I have more friends. 21 months ago

We hosted our engagement party in our new home, it was good practice for the wedding and friends helped us prepare a spit roast which got eaten completely! 23 months ago
