"Such an amazing, beautiful place. Will definitely do it again!!!"

How I did it: My fiance and I live in Ohio.  We have never been on vacation together.  So for his birthday I planned a vacation to Miami and the Bahamas.  We love water and sun, it was the most amazing time of our lives.  the ocean was captivating, not to mention the sun and sand and absolutely beautiful people.  We will definetly go again.

Lessons & tips: If you want to do something just do it.  If you plan far enough in advance it doesn't hurt you pockets and you can usually get pretty good deals (if not in peak season)  We went in October (still 80 degrees) yet season is winding down, however it is still in hurricane season (which helped cut the price too)  If you live within 12 hours of the ocean drive there for the weekend, it seems so far away, yet so worth it when you get there.  If you have children save on airfare by driving at night (when they would normally be sleeping anyways and there is barely any traffic).

    The ocean is such an amazing place. One could truly get lost in its vastness (literally) it is amazing to think that such beautiful water covers most of the earth. I wish I lived by it and all the amazing creatures in it. It is also overwhelming to think how large it is and once again of all the creatures in it that could harm you. YIKES!!!! Sorry to bring that up for anyone wanting to enjoy the ocean (I am simply covering all of the possibilities) I even snorkeled in it with fish in the Bahamas. In Key West I drove over miles and miles of it. In Miami I was in aawwww. It is such an amazing thing to see, it smells great. to mean it also makes me feel like I am in some of the most beautiful places in the world. I wish I lived nearby….....

    Well, I have SEEN it.

    Officially as of November 1st, 2006.

    But that was from an airplane. I want to dip my feet into the water as the waves crash against my ankles and just breathe in the salty air as I hear the constant cry of the seagull.

    I want to experience the ocean. Not just see it. Therefore this will remain as a thing to do and it has not been completed yet.

    Holy crap, is it big.
