I have a composition notebook with all of my movie ticket stubs dating back about a year and a half. It’s so cool. With them I include who I went with, how I would rate the movie, and now I have started adding in “memorable quotes”.
I even put stubs from sports games, concerts, and tickets you get at the arcade.

Just went to the movies... 1 year ago

And it inspired me to look through my ticket stubs. My oldest movie stub dates back to 5th grade (Titanic)... I have movie stubs from junior high, when my friends and I thought we were the coolest for going to the movies alone, movies from high school, all the way up to now. I also have all my sporting events, concerts, and plays… Unfortunately I am missing some stubs which sucks. I love this collection dearly. Not only do the stubs change in style throughout the years (you can tell the technology upgrades by the fonts on there… the older ones look weird!), but the prices go up. The best part is, there is so much history in a little piece of paper. The date, the moment, the friends. I have the stubs from the 24 movies, 1 concert, and 2 musicals my boyfriend and I have attended together in the past 2 years 1 month and 2 days we’ve been together. The stub from our first movie together, The Ring 2, means the most :)
