aarnold4 is the best thing since clicky pens
I picked up Tropic of Cancer in the bookstore just to see how he writes and it seems like something I might like. Although, a lot of critics say that sometimes his writing is incoherent. But thats just what the critics say, and they are always Negative Nancys.

I’ll consider this goal completed when I’ve finished three of his books.

By the time I got to the end I wasn’t so enthusiastic as I was when I begun it. But I did like it and I’ll say more soon (don’t have time for long entry now).

I’m STILL reading ‘Tropic of Cancer’. I’ve just been reading so little at the moment. Perhaps I’ll get a chance to finish it on my journey home from holiday on Tuesday.

My friend who was going to lend me some Henry Miller forgot to bring a book with when he came to stay, so instead he bought me both the Tropic books while he was here. I started Tropic of Cancer the other day and have to say so far it’s the best thing I’ve read in ages. (I’m so sorry Melissa if you’re reading this! Sooo sorry).
But at the moment I don’t seem to be reading much at all. I’ll normally finish a book the night I start it, unless it’s really thick, but I just don’t feel much like reading, even though I love what I’ve read so far of this one. Hopefully that will change.

I’ve not really had the money to spend on books recently, but a friend’s lending me a copy of ‘Tropic of Capricorn’ so I’ll see what I make of it…
