go me  — 10 hours ago

worked out extra hard today (even tho I was dizzy and tired from my birthday the day before)

legs (used more weight) 5 reps of 30
arms 5 reps of 30
obliques 3 reps 0f 20
abs 5 reps of 30
lat pill down 5 reps of 20
triceps pull down 5 of 20..

Have been at this since Feb, lost 3 inches and just FEEL great!
also I have ran 39 miles.

and walked about 1 1/2 miles home from work!!

I have been feeling sick latley..I worked out for 20 mins today.my fitness challenge ends the next 2 days..my man is pampering me, I hope I get better!

Finally Focused  — 1 week ago

SPRING is finally here! It makes being active easier which was my primary focus. Muffy (my dog) and I walk from my house to the park and back around. I try to get started by 6 so I am back home by 630 to see my husband off to work. I counted the city blocks and if what is said is true, I am walking a mile each morning. I even enjoy the rainy days. I actually look forward to the quite time and are starting to see the same people each morning. The old couple, the talking girlfriends and the Asian man that I am sure is twice my age but could outwalk me anyway. My clothes are feeling looser but more importantly my body is feeling stronger.

rode bike back and forth to work including lunch…

and cleaned the kitchen spotless…a good sweat!

5/6/08: yard work  — 1 week ago

2 hours of yard work on 5/6/08. I mowed the lawns, front and back, swept the deck, and weeded.

It might not have been very aerobic, but it must have counted for some good exercise, because I was sweating buckets when I finished!
