So I went in yesterday for an appointment to see a nutritionist. I’m glad I did. I feel a lot better about what I’ve been eating and she gave me some advice on how I can improve (my main problem being stress) and why I was craving what I was craving. So yeah, it was worth it.
Also, such a sweetheart! I told her that some of my stress causers are financial related and she charged me only a half hour as opposed to the almost full hour I was there. That’s a relief!

Well I’ve booked in to a “spiritual healer” who looks at nutrition, etc too…should be interesting to see what I learn about my inner & outer body!
I’ve been getting better and better at this. I’ve started a food journal which I’ve been counting my calories. It actually hasn’t been as difficult or annoying (so far) as I thought it may be or at least the last time I tried to start a food journal anyway. I think it makes a bit of a difference in what I’m keeping track. I bought a page-a-day planner, where I have lots of room to write down what I’ve eaten and other notes. I’ve also started making protein shakes but I still haven’t found quite the right type of protien for me (whey makes me want to vomit) and I’ve started taking greens because I don’t eat enough vegetables on my own.
And you know, it’s funny. I’ve been staying with my mom over the past month because right now there is a bus strike and I can walk to work from my mother’s house and staying there I’ve been drinking water like crazy. I went home for a weekend and found I wasn’t drinking anything. I figured it out. I have gross water at home. Now I’m in the habit of drinking lots of water, which is something I’ve been trying to accomplish for a long time now. I will need to get a new water filter or something when I’m home from now on.
So anyway, that’s what I’ve done so far. I only hope I can keep it up.
Not into crash diets. It’s a lifestyle change. I need to change my lifestyle.
