Just finished ride from Vancouver BC to Tijuana MEX. Route took 26 Days, mostly along the 101/Pacific Coast Hwy. Amazing views and terrain along the Oregon and Californian coast.
Roads in relatively good condition and the traffic was accommodating to bikers. Plenty of cheap motels and campgrounds along the way. Despite the sore backside most days the riding was comfortable, highly recommended!!!!

I went from Eureka, CA to Monterey, CA. I spent 2.5 weeks on the road and met some great people, saw amazing things, and had one of the most rewarding experiences of my life thus far. Unfortunately, my trip ended earlier than I hoped due to a bum ankle that swelled up after 1.5 weeks.

This is one of the best things that I have ever done.
I went from Vancouver to San Francisco and California was where the enjoyment really began.
What a fantastic place.
I am from England and this was my first trip to the U.S.A., I was amazed and delighted at the friendliness of the average American and the fearlessness of the racoons.
It’s incredibly easy to camp, $3/$5 dollars for hiker-biker camping and the views are stunning.
Also the fact that it is possible to go without maps and just follow Route one is a bonus if you have no sense of direction.
I am considering going from S.F. San Diego in Sept.
I will answer any questions that you may have.
