Oryx and Crake. I was entranced, and inhaled it in a couple of nights.
Only one novel to go: Alias Grace. And four of her short strory collections: Good Bones books, The Tent and Moral Disorder.
I don’t plan to read her books in English, that’s too much for me and I won’t enjoy it. I’m giving up on this goal since I’ve completed reading all of her books that has been translated into Hebrew. I really hope more books will be translated in the future so I can keep up with this goal.
I recently read The Handmaid’s Tale and Oryx and Crake. Today I started The Blind Assassin and after that I think I’ll read The Edible Woman. I love Margaret Atwood!
I’ve read all the novels that have been translated into Hebrew. I’m not sure the rest will be translated and I don’t want to read it in English. Damn.
With a few breaks, it took me a month, but I finished reading it. I’m a little sorry it took me so long, if I read it again I’ll try to do it in a shorter time to catch the whole picture with all the details without forgetting things between one chapter to the other.
But I enjoyed it anyway.
And now, a little break from Atwood until the later books will be translated.
I was told it’s not as good as the others, but so far I really like it. I’m reading a translations, but it seems to be a good one, the words choices are very interesting. I think it’s the last book that was translated so after it I’ll have a break till the new ones will be translated.
I enjoyed this book, but I think I expected too much because I’ve heard so many good things about it. Not my favorite, but definitely one I’ll go back to in the future.
I searched for the Hebrew translation for a while because it’s not in my library. I was told in 2 big book store chains that it’s not in any store or storage and will not be printed again, as far as they know. Today I went to a used book store and found a copy, and it was really cheep too! It wasn’t the store I intended to search in, I was just passing by so I checked it. Lucky me :)

to done with this. She has always been one of my favorite authors, but I stopped keeping up after I had kids (big surprse), but I’ve been picking them up again.
Oooh, and I just re-read Cat’s Eye. As a mother I read it very differently this time around, am going to have to pick up some of the old ones again…
